About the Role

Key roles:
Responsible for ensuring that all site staff are complying with all health and safety standards and site-specific rule and regulations. Manages the daily onsite implementation of planned works within the desired time frame and ensuring that the work is completed within the right specifications and standards. Work collaboratively with delivery manager and project managers on planning works for Projects.

Responsibilities:
Ensure health and safety and site rules are followed and maintained.
Cost effective in all contracts and purchasing undertaken.
Complete and distribute the works reports and update the SharePoint/ reports and site logs in a timely manner.
Conduct on site briefing and verifying understanding.
Monitoring and mentoring the site team
Ensure that site records and documentations are completed fully and collated.
Ensuring all permits are up to date
Ensuring temporary works are in accordance with procedures.

Requirements

  • Relevant technical knowledge regarding underground and overground specialties

  • Significant experience within the TfL/LUL Environment, including knowledge of the planning, design and construction activities undertaken across several TfL project areas (track, signalling, stations, civils or surface projects)

  • Knowledge of MS office software packages (proficient in Excel)

  • Effective record keeping and planning and document management.

  • Ability to attendant of any required and future training.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • SPC SOTT certification.

  • At least 2+ years of experience in supervising site staff.

  • SSSTS Card.

  • Sentinel Card.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work under pressure within time constraints.

  • QAF 54 or L&E Pass (Desirable)

  • At least 2+ years of previous professional planning management experience on transportation, water, and/or land development projects is required.

  • Proven capability to build relationships, be proactive and be part of a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams.

  • Sunday to Thursday nights and or Monday to Friday days – 8 hours shifts

  • Will be required to work within the rail (overground and underground environment with initialisation/surveying and testing.

About the Company
